Upon arriving at Sanctuary, you'll see the lovely Courtyard enclosed by wrought iron gates with surrounding landscaping and plenty of seating for your fair weather events.

You'll enter the building into the airy Foyer, filled with paintings and objets d'art, where the diamond patterned terrazzo floor is a lovely counterpoint to the soaring 25 foot ceiling.

From the foyer you'll find the Grand Room, or the Sanctuary. The first level is the large exposed Kitchen, custom designed to meld with the existing architecture of the grand old building. It is a chef's dream and a pleasure to cook in as well as being a beautiful stage to showcase your party's culinary productions. To each side of the kitchen, there are comfortable sitting areas where your guests can relax on leather sofas and rest their drinks and hor deurves on coffee tables.

The second level of the Grand Room is the Seating Area which can accommodate up to 120 guests for sit down events and 250 for cocktail parties. This space can also be used for a variety of purposes as is mentioned in our functions section.

From there, you look directly onto the Stage Area with its dark mahogany paneling and hand painted mural on surrounding walls and ceiling. Behind the stage there is a "Green Room" which can be used for nervous bridegrooms and their best man before the ceremony, or a place where your hired band may relax during their breaks from entertaining. There is a restroom also adjoining this room.

Directly in front of the stage is the roomy Dance Floor where you and your guests can shake your tail feathers.

Men and women's Restrooms are located downstairs where there is also an auxiliary kitchen for your caterer's extra ease. ADA portable restrooms can be ordered to accommodate guests in wheelchairs.

The Mezzanine Level, available summer of '07, boasts the master suite which is available at an extra charge. It consists of a comfortable den with gas fireplace, couches and television to sit and relax in. The large, luxury bathroom has a tiled shower and jetted tub, marble countertops with dual sinks, and is equipped with all the last minute amenities to prep yourself for your special evening.

To ease you into your evening in a serene and comfortable setting, there is the Master Bedroom with king size bed, fitted with fine linens, a flat screen television, and a cozy, gas fireplace. You can rest, take a nap or even have a private masseuse come in, all to make your time at Sanctuary the best that it can be. Other spa services are also available upon request.
